What Remains? Pinter’s Ashes to Ashes, popular culture, memory and atrocity

Scene from Sophie's Choice (Alan Pakula, 1982)Hi all. I’ll be giving a 30 minute talk on Monday 28 September on Harold Pinter’s Ashes to Ashes, its connection with Sarah Kane’s Blasted and why it overtly handles images of the Holocaust without directly referencing them. The talk will be at 1pm in the Alec Clegg Studio of the PCI (Stage @ Leeds) building.
