The Dreadful HoursTHE DREADFUL HOURS by Chris Fittock and Tmesis Theatre

Tmesis Theatre (www.tmesistheatre.com) embark on their biggest and most innovative collaboration to date with the upcoming tour of ‘The Dreadful Hours’.

‘The Dreadful Hours’ combines Tmesis Theatre’s Yorgos Karamalegos and Elinor Randle and their trademark physicality with new writing from Liverpool playwright, and Workshop Theatre graduate, Chris Fittock, in a darkly comic drama exploring the quiet disintegration of love’s first flourish through the lifetime of one couple’s relationship.

Javier Marzan, of the acclaimed theatre company Peepolykus, directs an inventive production full of dark humour and striking visuals.

Tmesis Theatre’s fourth production follows successful European tours of ‘Tmesis’, ‘Memento Mori’ and ‘Anima’, their trilogy on life’s journey. ‘The Dreadful Hours’ is the first piece in which the company works with a writer.

‘The Dreadful Hours’ opens at the Liverpool Everyman 11-13 February (www.everymanplayhouse.com),

before touring to Manchester Royal Exchange 3-6 March (www.royalexchangetheatre.org.uk),

and the Tristan Bates Theatre, London, 11-15 May (www.tristanbatestheatre.co.uk).
